One of the initiatives planned under the No Waste In Braddan initiative is a workshop on making morsebags - the wallet-friendly, eco-friendly alternative to plastic bags. were planning to organise this early in the New year, so if youd like to join in, please let us know. Morsbags are a world-wide phenomenon, and were introduced to the island by Zero Waste Mann. Theyre made of waste fabric (from curtains, duvet covers and the like) and are given free by the charity to help people cut their plastic bag useage.
