One of the issues we are going to begin working on for our new proposals to reform the current Animal Laws, will be concerning our Police Act 120 Program, reformed to include mandatory training to all officers statewide, and to acquire the responsibility to respond to and act upon, all animal calls/cases. Animal Control at best has 1 officer per county in most states and they dont even have the power to arrest and properly handle the case. Plus, after 5 pm weekdays and every weekend, there are tons of calls that are not even heard until Monday morning because they are closed like a regular business.....so animals are left to fend for themselves and all compassionate people who take in and care for these animals are not given the resources we need. The other topic on the agenda is to establish a National Do-Not-Adopt List with a toll-free # to call to check on potential adopters. (Mainly for use by individuals who wish to seek a new and safe forever home for their pets). Please SHARE, as our supporters grow, so do our chances of being heard among Legislation again. Thank You
