One of the last stops on the pro season tour, Hanna?s Indoor Pro - TopicsExpress

One of the last stops on the pro season tour, Hanna?s Indoor Pro Rodeo will see Canadian and American cowboys ride as hard as they can to earn their living and excite fans in the Canadian Badlands. The three-day event will fulfill your appetite for rodeo as well as Western heritage and family fun. Hanna’s biggest event of the year is the indoor rodeo (September 27-29) which is always held in September. . If you’re lucky, you might see a High Noon Gunfight on Main Street. Do you suppose rodeo organizers are Gary Cooper fans? Cooper starred in the Hollywood classic High Noon, a 1952 Western that many think is the best Western ever filmed. While you?re in town, explore the Canadian Badlands history of Hanna at the Hanna Pioneer Village. Sit in the pews of a restored 19th century pioneer church and explore the perfectly restored ranch house, hospital and machinery shop. Read the texts in the one-room school house, imagine shopping in the old general store and experience the flavour of the railway station. For contact information and a listing of activities during the rodeo weekend, visit the Hanna Indoor Rodeo Association website, or Facebook . For tickets call 403-854-4631. Additional rodeo information, events and performances can be found on the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association website.
