One of the main reasons my children still attend Falcon Middle school is that they do not implement the SBG system. I have a child who is moderately dyslexic and the system is not built for children with that type of difficulty. For the parents who have younger children at the middle school, I want to say that just because you think SBG doesnt affect you yet, you need to get involved. This summer a teacher from the HS transferred to the MS and she is using SBG in her classroom at the MS. I was only made aware of this today. My dyslexic son now has her class which is an elective and I am appalled with her intro to the class and her use of SBG at the middle school since she learned under the poor implementation at the HS.
