One of the most beautiful moments as a Mother is in the early morning hours as you look at your child sleeping peacefully. You mentally trace each little line on his face that seem to change a little everyday. You listen to each breath, sigh, and little sound he makes. You find yourself wanting to burn into your memory every moment you have been blessed with. You think about how fast he is growing. You want his future to be as perfect as your love for him, full of a genuine honesty, humbled strength, freeing peace, real ability to love fearless and unselfishly, true laughter that will be able to heal, valued wisdom, desired depth and a happiness that will be contagious to all who come to know and surround him. You pray to God for the strength and wisdom to be able to give him the tools to live a long happy life. You hold your child, staring at this little angel God loaned you, humbled that he trusted you with this precious, innocent being to mold with his guidance and wonder who he will be, what the future holds, but you have to remind yourself to focus on the moment. Because right now... in this beautiful moment, as you kiss his little cheek and hold his little hand wrapped around your finger... He sleeps safe in his mommys arms dreaming sweetness and peacefully growing with all he knows of so far... An Unconditional Love that will always be there... unwavering.
