One of the most beautiful moments of the night....after we sang carols to all the residents in a common area there was a woman sitting at the end of a table in a separate dining area. She missed the caroling & asked for the music sheets so she could just read the songs. Steven Gunther had his guitar packed away, coat on- ready to leave. She asked to hear just one song.... Steven grabbed his guitar with his coat still on, we gathered around her while she joined us singing Silent Night. Thank you Steven for being a blessing to the very last minute. Watching her sing made me realize with full clarity that even when our bodies begin to fail our spirit is still very alive.
