One of the most fascinating places in rural countryside of China with amazing rice terraces which I had visited years ago was this Yunnan province... Another place with impressive rice terraces that I saw was in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region which is more known for its Guilin City which U.S. President Bill Clinton had visited too. I hope our government leaders can preserve the Banaue Rice Terraces not only as major tourist destination but also please protect and help enhance it as a great cultural heritage of the Philippines?
