One of the places on my bucket list that I still need to visit is South Africa. Besides of course Paul Simon’s ‘Graceland’, there’s tons of great music coming from there and since last week we can add John Wizards to the list. They have created a brilliant album that lies on the intersection between underground pop, R&B and, of course, African music. It might just be the best newcomer album of the year.
