One of the primary goals of ICAK research has been to identify Indicating Neuromuscular Factors that might enable clinicians to predict which patients will respond best to which type of AK care. Also, to determine when someone has had a sufficient amount of AK care to properly resolve their disorder. A new ICAK report has shown that patients with Adrenal Stress Disorders (Stress-Related Illness) demonstrate a specific set of Indicating Neuromuscular Factors. In this report, the diagnosis of Adrenal Stress Disorder was confirmed (in every case) by aberrations in Salivary Hormone Testing (now a gold standard for detecting this disorder). This study demonstrated that the AK MMT is a potentially useful, inexpensive, non-invasive AND accurate tool in the assessment of a primary endocrine dysfunction in the human population...probably the most common condition that clinicians face in their patients. This paper will be appearing in two parts. The first page of the first version (the print version) is attached. The second (on-line) version will be a much larger paper (appearing in the 2nd week of January, STAY TUNED) wherein a literature review of the previous AK-related evidence about correlations between MMT and laboratory diagnosis is presented; as well as a broad discussion of the latest evidence supporting the biological plausibility and physiological rationale of using the MMT for the assessment of biochemical disturbances. (SOMETHING TO SHARE with your colleagues and patients) Making the AK approach for biochemical diagnosis SOLID and accepted around the world is on our agenda in ICAK...!!
