One of the reasons this is being allowed in America at present is because of the profound shortcoming in training college students to think. Good philosophy, which includes ethics and logic, would not permit political correctness and redefinitions of words to steer the terms of debate. When you water down truth, the effects spill over into public policy, and even into the voter booth. The nation is in peril. Unless we educate leaders of the future, dramatic changes are ahead. I think those changes are in motion, but they can only be stopped or reversed by certain decisive actions. Heres a question (soapbox time): Is America on the edge of suffering the judgment of God? Think of it. There are many examples in Scripture where God used other people to execute judgment. We cant fool ourselves that America is some moral beacon when she kills her unborn and is on a trajectory for permitting active euthanasia, normalizing pedophilia, and permitting radical redefinitions of institutions such as marriage. Nothing annoys me more than when I hear from many that America is a moral leader for the world to follow . . . its only true in a limited sense, and unless that idea is qualified carefully, I reject it. Note: I dont reject the idea completely, but lets not fool ourselves.
