One of the things God has been dealing with me about lately is Submission. Not an easy task.... you see Ive been on my own since I was 16yrs old.... everything I have come to know I learned by myself, like how to be independent and goal driven. Now in the world theres nothing wrong with that, but in a Godly relationship its wrong.... now Im not saying you need to be this docile robot! What Im saying is that the word of God says that the MEN are the head of the home and that the women need to submit to their husbands. This also doesnt mean you are a door mat.... but what it means is to allow your man room to be the head.... to take the lead and make decisions for you and your family. Godly decisons. We are designed to be the help mate, meaning we are supposed to love and support our husbands as well through prayer so we can act as guide and help them steer the ship. NOT Captain it!! Ladies, please stop making demands and running the show.... at work you may be in a leadership role but at home you are in a submissive role!! Im preaching to myself here because I am so quick to put on my captains hat, take the wheel and steer the ship, because Ive been doing it myself. But the spirit of God has been reminding me of my fault and helping me to be a Proverbs 31 wife and submit to my husband. BE BLESSED!
