One of the things I love about short films is one of the same things I love about short stories. True short films (as opposed to shorts*) have a small amount of time to tell a story, and because of this, the story telling is efficient, compact, and lacks a lot of the filler you get with feature length films. This one does a great job doing just that. Its a complete story with only 2 words of dialog. Not lines. Words. Sure the effects are definitely low budget and the acting could be better, but theres more meat here than in most of the summer blockbusters this year. youtu.be/P9nnr2OC_44 *Shorts and flash fiction are usually just a scene meant to show off the director/writer/cinematographers skills but dont actually have a story. Unlike a true short film or short story that has at least one character, a plot, and plot resolution.
