One of the things I love best about working at Kitale is the instant response we always get fro our very proactive villagers and also the lack of red tape when we decide we are going to do anything we just do it. For instance when we left Kitale we had left enough money to build a new chicken house as the project was deemed to be very good and the Rotary club of Lunesdale had kindly donated £500 towards a project which we would set up while there. THANK YOU ROTARY CLUB OF LUNESDALEFOR YOUR GENEROUS DOONATION IT HAS BEEN PUT TO VERY GOOD USE . In just 2 weeks the house was built and the chickens were in the house, thats really good. For those of you concerned about animal welfare as indeed we are dont worry the chickens as seen here are happy and healthy and Our headmistress Madame Susan just loves her chickens and looks after them as if they were her children. We can sell every egg these chickens produce as demand is high and this will definitely help to pay wages very soon now
