One of the things my mentor told me years ago was, Ndi , you need to learn to think like a merchant....not like a consumer. Heres an example: Lets say that Terry has a friend who owns a car dealership. Terry gets a call from his friend one day who says, Hey, Ive got a brand new, black Mercedes S500 sedan here. And you can HAVE it. Its yours....no charge. Terry says, OMG, thats incredible! Thats a amazing! Thank you! The guy says, Youre welcome. Theres a $2,500 delivery fee to get it to your door. But as soon as its there, its yours. The keys and the title are in the console. Terry says, Oh. Thats too bad. I dont have $2,500. I guess youll have to give the car to someone else. Sad story, huh? Poor Terry. He almost got a free automobile valued at $150,000....but he didnt have $2,500 to pay for the delivery and wasnt willing to figure out how to get it. The technical term for that is stupidity. See, even if you dont WANT a $150,000 car....no one in their right mind is going to say no to that deal. Because, even if you dont want the car, you can spend $2,500....get the car.....and then turn around and put it on the market for $135,000 and make a killer profit. Thats a 5400% percent profit. Thats the difference in thinking like a merchant and thinking like a consumer. A consumer-mindset says I cant afford it. A merchant mindset says, How can I afford it so that I can turn a small amount of money into a larger amount of money? When you start thinking that way.....youll start putting more money in your bank account than you can possibly imagine. #Thickrich #Growrich #beliveis99%success
