One of the things we promoted before DCA officially kicked off was having the same judges at each round. Unfortunately two of our judges will no longer be taking part in the series. DCA staff would like to thank Danny Denzo Vahoumis and Darren Afro Appleton for their time and efforts judging the first two rounds of our series. We have two replacement judges, both are quality drivers with judging experience. The first judge is none other than Paul Aussie Austin, a man with the curliest mop youve seen and the dopest JZX81 to match. Heres a few words from Aussie: Im chuffed to be judging the final rounds of DCA this season! Its great to see a buzz generating among the drivers for a competition really focussed on pure enjoyment for drivers and spectators alike. It certainly made my decision to join the judging panel easy. The more fun they have, the more entertaining it is for us! This is now my 11th year of competing in drifting in Australia and a handful of times in japan, from local grass-roots fun to national level competition. When not driving, you will have often seen me at SAs G1 competitions in the judging tower. Since its inception into Australian motorsport, the level of competition and skill level has been constantly raised, now with everyone driving closer and harder than ever before. The best of our drivers are now even taking it to the best drivers that Japan has to offer! So drivers, bring your A-Game to Calder Park Thunderdome, I wanna see you go balls-to-the-wall! Our third judge will be announced when he stops watching J-pop group Baby Metal on youtube and submits a bio.
