Every thing over 30 kg has to go on a three day service just for future reference. Those hand cycles had been put by for you for quite some time. Have just spoken to neight freight. They will not be at the depot until this evening. Out for delivery tomorrow. Customer. What is urgent urgent? There are not degrees of urgency. You did not give us the option of paying more for next day, or using our own courier. This would have cost about a tenth of what the damage is costing us. Me. Apologies about any confusion, as you can appreciate we are always being told that things are urgent from everybody, and unless it was specifically stated that the items should be with you by a certain date, we will always do our best to get them shipped out ASAP. Unfortunately as these items were on hold for a considerable time on your behalf, due to having to pro-forma first, I did not pre-empt the urgency, and simply assumed that normal delivery was ok. Given the fact that I never offered for you to pay more for next day delivery or for your own courier to collect, substantiates my presumption, the fact remains that had you asked for either of these options I would then have been fully aware of the urgency, therefore none of this would have happened.
