One recollection – One time, Cliff was staying at my house, and I told him I just got rear-ended on the Bay Bridge. I told him I was alright, and set out to do whatever we were doing then. The next day I woke up and couldn’t turn my head – I had whiplash! It hurt to stand up straight, to walk, to talk, to laugh – you get the point. Well, because I couldn’t drive, I asked Cliff to drive me to the hospital, and I tell you, that was the most painful, excruciating ride I had at that point. Cliff drove like a madman, swerving all over the place, screaming Misfits songs at the top of his lungs, banging on his steering wheel that was broken in four places, and me howling in pain because I couldn’t keep my neck still. At one point I said ‘Can’t you drive a little more careful?? My neck is killing me!’ At that point, he just looked at me and shouted ‘POOOS!!” (Slang for female genitalia.)
