One short month ago the max weight i could deadlift was 145lbs, and today i lifted 215lbs. And that was after building up the weight and lifting steadily heavier amounts. And i have a bad knee- torn meniscus, bone spur, patella doesnt slide right due to injuries. Oh, and asthma. I havent yet had an asthma attack since doing crossfit. And my legs are so strong now that I no longer have to wear my incredibly cumbersome knee brace. We have people of all ages, shapes, and sizes join our gym, and we all start out awkward and intimidated. But we show up. And we learn. And we try. And people cheer for us. And we do it. And we get strong. We all have excuses, and bad days. But we show up. And we get healthier. And you guys make my life better. Thank you Casey Schmidt CrossFit Body-Mechanic.....
