One the 1st, 2nd and 3rd January 2015 I attended a Global Alliance Conference at INTERCP in Korea that brings together young men and women to pray, worship, awareness in world missions, and comission missionaries. Participants were from US, Japan, China, Kenya, Nigeria, Malaysia, Irealand, UK, PNG (☺) and many many more countries... Highlights: 1. Missionaries on the field sharing their experiences (mostly to the unreached parts of the earth). 2. Chinese Church committed to raise and send 1 million missionaries by 2030, and they are doing just that! 3. India committed to raise a million missionaries 4. Mongolia also wants to meet the million target. 5. Iran surpassed China as the fastest growing Church, 19.7% every year followed by Iraq (17%). The most prosecuted areas experiencing most growth. 30 000 saved at Syrian refugee camp last year 5. Comissioning of 428 young missionaries and professionals as tent-makers to 80 countries (these young people go either as short term during semester breaks or 1 year or more after college, mid-way through college to serve). They are from all over the world Important message at the conference: Jesus when asked about the end, Jesus closest reference to the end was when the gospel of the kingdom is preached to the ends of the earth Matthew 24. He didnt give the time, but the conditions surrounding his return is known. By 1989, only half of the worlds people groups were reached (in 2000 years)! 24 000 unreached people groups. The global churches realized that focus has to be shifted to the most unreached groups (never heard Jesus once in their lives). Result: By 2012 there are now 1500 groups left! What does all this mean? JESUS IS COMING SOON! 3 implications: If you are not saved, Jesus loves you accept Him as your Lord. If you compromised in life, make a solid stand on Jesus the Rock (you cannot go that trend anymore we dont have time). If you are faithful, stand firm, and share the gospel to the people around you.
