One thing I can say about living in Chicago, is there are multiple higher education avenues for everyone. From universities to colleges, trade schools, community colleges, there is something for everyone at every price point and interest level. Loyola sees a need within the community college sphere, and doesnt want tuition to be the major hurdle with hopes you continue on to their 4 year university. ...only 20 percent of its graduates who go to community college get a diploma, while two-thirds do at four-year institutions. Loyola, he says, “is solving a niche problem we have in Chicago, and that is poor access to a quality community college experience in the city that can ultimately lead to graduation from a four-year college.”
