One thing I have always been passionate about is mental illness, mental health and mental health awareness. since I was knee high to a grasshopper I have been drawn to children with special needs. weather they be physical or mental. now that I am older I am more drawn to those with mental health issues. that being said I know my shit, so dont tell me you have skits but describe bi polar and depression. Dont tell me you have multiple personality if you describe anxiety. One thing I will never stand for is someone imitating those who are suffering every day with these diseases. We are shoved into a stereotypical circle. If we have skits, we are crazy and out to kill everyone if we have bi polar we must be zombies If we have multiple personalities we must never know what is happening and we are stupid. If we have Borderline personality disorder we must really be messed because theres a little bit of everything in that, right? NO! get your facts straight. I did. So Stop. And stop now. Dont tell me you have something you dont because I will go ape shit on your ass an I PROMISE you will never think of mental health the same again.
