One thing I learned about myself in the past year that I didnt know before was how much I enjoyed being a stranger... Different towns, cities, states, and even in places I am familiar with, it is absolutely fascinating to put yourself in places and situations that you would normally avoid. When doing this, i always try to be an observer; participating only when required to do so, speaking or interacting with others ONLY if they engage you first is a terrible way to make new friends, but will ensure that you experience what The Universe has in store for you and not the other way around. Forcing yourself into unfamiliar territory with no attachment, constraints, or expectations imposed upon you by others (or imposing your own upon somebody!) will always make you feel truly ALIVE, and whatever problems you may be having are forgotten, or at least put into perspective by stepping aside and watching all the silly people and the even sillier shit they are constantly doing.
