One thing Ive been learning about this year are ways to stay calm, or to bring myself back to a place of calm, once I become stressed or agitated, rather than letting my emotions get the better of me. A few things that are working for me are removing myself to pray, read or just think for a minute in a quiet room (I usually lock the door to my bedroom for a few minutes), taking a brief walk outside (even just to the backyard), and using essential oils. What helps you in those moments?
