One thing We can’t stand is a negative person telling us, “ Nd & Judith, don’t get your hopes up.” Immediately (and, unfortunately, sometimes in a rash way), We tell them “Listen, if the mind can conceive it – with God We can achieve it.” We dont try to analyze the comment or enter into conflict with that person. However, We also do not want that comment to create a seed of doubt or unbelief in our mind. We dont want our expectations to be lowered. Mediocrity takes this comment and runs with it. We, on the other hand, should refuse to be average and declare that we have divine and royal blood flowing through our veins and therefore, our hope is in God not in what man thinks. Scripture says, “That they might set their hope in God” (Psalm 78:7). Therefore, get, and keep, your hopes up. With time you will see your hope fulfilled and you wont have to hope for it anymore. It’s when you dont see hope that your hope has a reason to exist. Hebrews 11 talks about hope with faith. They are two different things. Faith is not like hope. Faith cannot be deferred as it’s a substance. If you are exercising faith, no one will be able to tell you that God’s promise will not come to pass. There are no constant ups and downs, but just a knowing and sense of His presence. Faith will overcome all opposition. Faith is the fulfillment of your hope. Keep listening to the Word of God as faith comes from hearing it. Allow the love of God to continue to dwell in your heart as love always hopes....Nd & Princess Judith Martins
