One thing about New Orleans, if youre going to get any where quickly, youll need to take a cab -- or WALK! The most favorite thing consumed during any meal was an authentic kosher dill pickle. No vinegar! Just sour and dill and CRISP and lightly salty. Oh my goodness! Not a bit of sogginess (see the exclamation marks? It really was that good)! I honestly did not know that a dill pickle could be so delicious. So now yall have to help me -- I need a recipe. One of yall HAS to have a grandmother or grandfather or auntie that makes these delightful pickles. There are several hundred on the internet but, never having made them before, a good recipe looks exactly like a bad recipe. Sneak out that family heirloom of a kosher dill pickle recipe and inbox it. Pleeeeeaaaaase??? Otherwise, its a fresh start tomorrow. **yawn** Happy Sunday Night, yall!
