One thing that my experience of being away for so long around other influences has afforded me, is the fact of how negative this country is; its like being steeped in a vat of darkness. I GUARANTEE you this as a simple universal truth: If you wake up and everything around is negative, you focus on negativity with all around you and then subsequently build a consensus or agreement with all around you that everything is negative then it will be. Reality is based on consensus, on agreement, however, if you focus on the positives, and there are always some, then maybe, just maybe, you will create a consensus, an agreement, that all around is not in fact hopeless bullshit and in fact it is worth trying and there is some good to be had out of the day. I guarantee you if you focus on darkness alone, then darkness will focus on you and you absolutely, definitely will not achieve your goals and aspirations. I guarantee you that, if you focus on some positives, however small they may appear at first, then the outcome of your day may ultimately turn out dark, but guess what, it may not, and that is the distinction, that is the power of your mind, which ultimately is the most powerful tool you have. Why bathe in your own shit, in our own shit? It makes no sense. Sometimes, you have to go away to see a culture for what it is, and that is what I see. FTDCH. One love. X
