One way of interpreting Steven Spielbergs movie is that he shows the enduring pain a character takes to achieve a simple goal like being alive at the edge of humanity. If the writer is slightly influenced by Spielberg then the characters can be seen in a painful experience. A mum is cooking for his son but her glasses are broken. While chopping the onions she cuts her hand. She has allergy and suddenly she touches her eyes but she forgot she minced green pepper few minutes ago. The eyes hurt and suddenly there is no gas in the stove. She forgot to top-up the gas card and the neighbourhood convenient shop is ten minutes walk. She runs, her breaths go heavy. The shopkeeper has put down his shops shutter and was starting the car. The mum requested him but it was more like begging. He agreed to top up the gas card but he was very slow. She was growing impatient. 30 minutes later the story goes to the dinner table. The mum is having dinner with her son who came after three months. Yes he enjoyed the food. At least at this point there is no need to prolong the agonising experience. May be her son has his story. Like Spielbergs characters many characters can have a long journey in their life. Like walking a hundred miles to get back what is actually ones own.
