One week ago I had the honor of giving an assembly at my former high school, Natomas Performing and Fine Arts Academy. I performed a few songs and talked a bit about what its like being in the industry and a world traveling singer/beatboxer/musician. It was an amazing experience reflecting upon my years in school and the journey that its taken to get me where I am today. Im always so impressed at the talent and maturity level at NCS and it was as if they were holding on to every note that I sang and word that I said... You can truly feel when people appreciate a performance and when these students reacted and were unable to contain their pure joy and excitement, it made me so happy to be able to effect other humans in this manner where they can forget about all the troubles in the world for just a moment and get lost in music.
