One week left for some of the gentlemen of Delta Chi to shave either their heads or facial hair for the Jimmy V foundation! The Jimmy V foundation is the foundation that Delta Chi International works with to help kick cancers butt! The V Foundation for Cancer Research is a foundation that was founded by Jim Valvano, a college basketball coach, who was diagnosed with Cancer and decided to team up with ESPN to try and eradicate Cancer. Part of the V Foundation’s funds go towards helping young, talented scientists be able to develop for the future and contribute to research for finding a cure in the future. Another goal of the Jimmy V foundation was set forth to accelerate the process of getting laboratory results to patients anticipating results. The Jimmy V foundation has directly given over $100 Million to hundreds of research facilities worldwide and all of its donations go to helping Cancer patients. Thanks for Everyones Support!
