One year after Typhoon Yolanda. More than 15,000 people joined the mobilizations all over Panay Island, one of the hardest hit islands of the typhoon - not to celebrate a thanksgiving, not a compleaño, not a hukas-lalaw. None of that. But they marched and rallied to demand the ouster of the Aquino regime which had shown to be irresponsible, inefficient and anomalous when faced with the impact of the calamity. The video below was shot in Roxas City, Capiz province where more than 9,000 people from the coastal, farming and urban poor communities joined the protest movement dubbed as Desperatus - the continuing grievance of a people struck by the calamity against a regime that did not, and continues to not give a shit.
