One year ago today. I received my acceptance letter to study at the Legon Center for International Affairs and Diplomacy at the University of Ghana. I was excited yet apprehensive. Suddenly I was confronted with a CHANGE. I would have to end my tour of Duty in Cuba within three weeks, head to Saint Lucia for three weeks and then depart for Ghana. So much was happening at once, separating my family and so much to do in so little time. I did it. Today, one year later, I took my final exam. And history will repeat itself. I will have less than 2 months to tidy up and finish the dissertation, pack up all that I have acquired and prepare to cross the waters again... A difficult time indeed but a time I look forward to. Tough decisions ahead indeed but decisions I must make non the less. But through it all HE HAS NEVER FAILED ME YET... GREAT IS HIS FAITHFULNESS UNTO ME... And unto him I give all the GLORY AND HONOUR....................It is not FINISHED until it is over... and I am not Finished until he says I AM DONE.... In the meantime, I will hug that bed so tightly, I will be sorry for it....I am spoiling myself with some much needed sleep. Three weeks of ACADEMICALLY INDUCED INSOMNIA........Now it is pampering time... Wish he were here at my side but hey, BIG GIRLS DO NOT CRY....
