One year ago today I was headed back to MU after work to start the spring semester. It was late at night but I wanted to see my mom before I headed back. She was working 12 hours so I called her and she was headed home as I was headed towards Towanda. So we met at the Ulster Dandy and she told me to go kick this semesters derrière!! I then proceeded to head back to MU. As I was heading into/going through Troy my gut told me Clarice, you MUST go see your father as well. Forget that its 8:30 PM and you have classes at 9:30 AM!! GO SEE YOUR DAD TOO!! I stopped and had a nice visit with Dad for a good two hours. Talked about everything under the moon - from kicking the semesters derrière and getting Deans List to politics/voting. Dad even talked to me about his will and wishes because of his health. Before leaving Dad and I hugged and said See ya later. I love you! a million times. He was a talker just like me. Must be where I get my socializing skills and motor mouth :P LOL!!!! Let me tell you I will FOREVER be thankful that I listened to my gut that night!!!! Because that was the last time I saw Daddy, felt his warm arms around me while nestled into his chest, and getting a peck on the forehead. Also our last face to face I love yous. Daddy, I miss you!! I know your arms are around me right now though as Im balling. I love you my guardian angel!!
