One year ago today I was laying at AAMC having a mastectomy, I never expected to be lying there but who does. 2013 was truly the year from hell our dear mother died just 2 months prior to my operation and I was diagnosed just four days after she was laid to rest. I sit here one year later and wonder just how I got through all that heart ache and pain. The answer God prayers my family friends and the strength and faith my parents instilled in me all my life. Yes I am strong but it is because of all of you that I got through such a horrible year. This year on this date I am healthy with no cancer and I thank you all for standing beside me when I needed you the most.
