One year ago today I went on my first date with a boy I met from Cincinnati, who I met a month prior on a trip I took on a whim to go visit and reconnect with an old and dear friend. To say that it has been an amazing year, doesnt do it justice. Tomorrow hes coming to help finish pack me up to make Cincinnati my new home and start our lives together, and I couldnt be more excited. Its been a very bittersweet experience for me. While Im so excited to start a new life in a city that I really have grown to love, the last couple of weeks have been emotional saying goodbye to coworkers, clients, friends and family. I really have been blessed to be surrounded with such a fantastic support system, and to grow up in a city that Ill always be proud to call home. Especially in the last couple of years, Ive learned that life doesnt always go the way you think its going to...and then sometimes it takes you where you never thought it would, but you realize its because this how it was supposed to be all along. So I look forward to my new journey with a new city, new school, new job and new friends and family, with someone that I love more than I thought I was capable of. On to the next!
