One year ago today my pastor asked me if I would be willing to share my testimony and what God had done for me in the past year. Of course my first thought was, I cant get up & speak. But while eating lunch, the Holy Spirit began to speak to me, asking why cant you tell others what great things God has done for you. You sure know how to shoot the bull about Alabama football with no hesitation! Talking about a slap to the forehead! As soon as we got home I began jotting down so many things that God had done in my life last year. I had no problem filling up several pages of Gods blessings on my life. I remember one of the last things that I said was, Whatever you are faced with in life, just Trust God! Little did I know that in a couple of weeks we would find out that Johnnys Cancer had returned. Those words became oh so true in our lives. God had revealed to Johnny in a dream(yes God still speaks in dreams) the first of November that his cancer was back. He didnt tell me about the dream until the Dr. had confirmed the Cancer had re-occurred. This time we were facing Chemo & Radiation treatments. This year has been stressful but God has delivered us from evil. Johnny is cancer free! I know some of this is a repeat from earlier post, but I just wanted to tell everyone that God may use your own trials and even your testimony to remind us we must Trust Him in all situations. My prayer is that in the up coming year that our lives reveal Gods Trust, and Praise him for his Greatness & Love.
