One year ago today we went out to dinner with Tyler Elzey for the last time. But Tyler made sure he made it extra special. And left me with a special gift that I wouldnt realize until some time later. We went to Cracker Barrel and while we were there, we happened to run into Tylers good friend and fire house brother and for the first time, I was introduced to Dalton Brown. I still remember seeing the big smile on Tylers face when he saw him! None of has could have ever known that tragedy was about to strike and change all of our lives forever. Dalton - you have become like a son to me over the past year! And Tyler would be so proud of you seeing how far you have come and I know he would be grateful; for the way you have been there for me and my family since that tragic day! I know I may not have met you that night if you and Tyler hadnt been your mischievous selves - but looking back - Im really glad I did!
