Older than Stonehenge and for many visitors more spectacular, the multiple rings of Avebury are cloaked with mysteries which archaeologists have only begun to unravel. Monumental sites such as Avebury are believed to be sacred landscapes and ancient centres of power that incorporate Ley Lines and Earth Energies. Dating from 2800BC onwards, Avebury has been designated a World Heritage Site. Within the standing stones Gerrie will lead a guided meditation for peace in the world. A simple and enjoyable scrying exercise using the stones will follow. Under the ancient Hazel tree which stands on the perimeter a prayer for healing for ourselves and anyone we know will take place. Prayer ribbon provided. During the day you will also visit Silbury Hill and West Kennet Longbarrow which is England’s finest Neolithic chambered burial mound. . Time permitting, visits to Avebury Manor and gardens and Local museums may be possible. Entrance fee not included. . This trip will be popular.
