When my grandmother had her first series of two flatline heart attacts, her main ICU nurse asked me to stay the night, her name was Tracy. The women in the next room went into full repertory arrest, and died. They brought her back. Nurse Tracy asked me to help with my Grandmother through the night because the lady next door was in grave danger of losing her life . Of course I agreed, and over the next 6 hours I sat 10 feet away from nurse Tracy , whom was sitting in a foldable chair she had placed in front of the vitals monitor for this sick woman, and I witnessed the true meani.g of dedication. Nurse Tracy watched every blip on the monitor and did not move for almost 7 hours to ensure she could catch any decline in her heath.. The lady lived the night, I cannot say how long after, but that my friends is a big example why I champion the dedicated worker as well as equal rights for women..
