Only if the Jamaican people were conscious voters. The people of Jamaica must be educated. They must learn how to vote based on the performances and principles of a political party. Targeting the uneducated mass of the people to gain/attain state power, is by far the lowest and unethical strategy one can use. It speaks more volume about the representatives that the illiterate people themselves... Sighh.. These people dont even know where their votes are taking the country. They dont even know that their votes are indirectly liberating the country. We come here each day with our political advocacy. Yet were not acknowledging the slow paced economy we have,neither the economic constraints. Is it that we enjoy living in a inflated country? Is it that we have more passion for partisan politics than the welfare of our people?? Or we just dont want to see jamaica improve to a managing economy state? We are heading in a dungeon. Our leaders continue to blunder and fail us. We must all go to the polls and vote consciously..
