Ontarios Information and Privacy Commissioner released a report yesterday that examined the issue of disclosure of suicide attempts in police records. The report recommends that Ontario police services cease the routine disclosure of suicide-related information via Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) database. CMHA Ontario was pleased to contribute to the report and CMHA Ontario CEO Camille Quenneville was interviewed by CHCH TV about this issue. Check out the video and full story below.
