#OpBilingual Anonymous members of the world. An upsetting post came to my attention today through one of the anon facebook groups. In brief, it read ; Why is anonymous so quick to help in Boston but not the rest of the world?. Now, at first glance I was prone to writing this off as one of millions of posts like it - attempting to compare the Boston Marathon Bombing to the evils committed in the name of the War on Terror. It seems every enlightened kid in the White Western World is using this tagline in the past few days, and I see both sides of the coin. On one hand, the American government commits countless atrocities abroad every day, and on the other, we must not attempt to downplay the suffering of those effected in the Bombing. Okay. Alls well, until I looked deeper. The man posting this was an Arabic Muslim. I friended him and messaged him for a while. I came to find out that many people in his demographic, himself included have come to see Anonymous as supporting the agenda against our Muslim brothers and sisters. He was completely unaware of #OpIsrael, and was very surprised when I refered him to several Anonymous groups for Muslims. Upon making the vow that My heart is with your people, and if there is ever anything anonymous can do to help prevent ANY citizen of the world from suffering unjustly, we will do everything in our power to see that it is prevented, my new friend was very sincerely moved by what I had said. It was at that moment that the realization that we are not doing enough to spread our message to those who need it most came, and also, the realization that many people abroad believe we are all supportive of the actions our Military takes. In many of these regions, there is little to no access to news and information not controlled by their popular media and governments. I propose our message be syndicated in Arabic, Hindi, Hebrew, Yiddish, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Afrikaans, and Russian, as these languages are the most drastically different then English and most vulnerable to mistranslation. Also, the number of people speaking these 9 languages combined amounts to nearly 10 times the number of English native speakers in the world, meaning we are currently only sending the message to a tenth of the people we could be, and typically, only targeting countries which have the most open and free exchanges of information, when it is most needed where censorship and information control abound. Because of this, Im proposing #OpBilingual. In this op anons will be encouraged to syndicate our message in as many languages as possible. Google and other search engines are organized by language, and due to the fact the many of these people do not speak any native European languages, our message is not reaching them effectively when they seek it. This is simple. Press releases and tweets can be translated by using google translate and syndicated. I would also like to see @YourAnonNews and @Anonymouspress, our two most popular outlets worldwide, begin tweeting in multiple languages. As far as I am aware, this would be the first time anonymous would use storm-tactics towards those who speak for us, however, if these people wish to be our voice, they should represent ALL anons regardless of language, race, or creedo, not just those who speak English.
