Proverbs 13:2 He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction. Proverbs 13:3 Bible in one year: Revelations 16-18 Message For over three years, there had been no rain. Suddenly, Elijah emerged and said he heard the sound of much rain. This ultimately led to a turnaround. We ought to learn some lessons from this story. “And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.” 1 Kings 18:41 In the midst of so much famine and dryness, the man of God heard the inaudible. Amos 3:7 says before God does anything, He would first reveal it to at least one of His prophets. Revelation 2:7 says the Spirit is saying something but it will take only those who have spiritual ears to hear the divine message. This shows that in the unpleasant situation you are going through, God is saying something. Have you heard what God is saying? Concerning that situation of joblessness, God is saying something. Concerning that need for a spouse, God is saying something.
