Open letter to everyone out there trying to make me smile with your posts and PMs: I love each and every one of you. Some of you know me really well in real life and some of you barely know me at all. I am generally a happy person. A generous type who smiles easily and cares very deeply. I am so much better at taking care of others than I am myself. I want everyone to be happy. Im also always on the road, changing time zones more often than my underwear, hungry, tired, clutching my stuffed animals because theyre all Ive got to keep me company on a regular basis, surrounded by people all the time and somehow always alone. Im tough, and so is this crazy wonderful life I lead. I get stomped on, a LOT...emotionally, physically. And Im often so tired that I just feel like I cant do anything right, especially on a personal level.When I do get to go home, its to a cat that barely recognizes me. Its tough, and it just is what it is. And I still wouldnt trade it for anything in the world (well, maybe not anything). So many of you reach out with love--offering words of support, jokes, memes, bringing food and gifts to events...and youre all wonderful. In fact Im now sitting in the hotel lobby crying and sniffling as I write this...a gazillion miles away from all of you. You guys just rock and Im very lucky to have you all in my life, even if I cant see you or fell you, I hope youll all take a big hug.
