Open your Mind: There is a conspiracy between the 11 DISCOs and the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) to exploit the people of Nigeria through Fixed Charge which varies from state to state, Nigerians have been known to be docile on things that matter most to them. As long as Nigerians pay them this Fixed Charge, we should forget about regular power supply, what they make from Fixed Charge is enough to pay their staff and rake in billions of naira monthly. The MD/CEO of Benin Electricity Distribution Company, Mrs. Funke Osibodu said in the hearing by the EDHA committee on energy and water resources that Nigerians should not expect a 24 hour power supply which means there is no hope for us for a steady power supply inasmuch as they collect the Fixed Charge monthly. Have you noticed that BEDC covered the inscription PHCN on every vehicle with BEDC sticker? This suggests they are not permanent but to quickly make all the money and run away as fast as possible. Say NO to Fixed Charge TODAY!
