Open your hearts..greed is ugly..I had an older man come to our house this evening..he was going to mow our lawn..he looked like he could use some compassion..after he was done, I asked if he was hungry..something kept insisting I ask him that..so I did..he looked me in my eyes and said yes, I feel weak Im so hungry..I fed him, heard his story, and we prayed..you know it costs NOTHING to give even the smallest amount of love and concern to another human being..I packed him a care package..a to go...drinks and all..he had so much pride and insisted he didnt need them..I told him I know you may not need them but I want you to have them..he shed a few tears and thanked me..said all he had was his lawn mower for income and a shed someone was nice enough to let him call home..this man is 60 years old..whatever his decisions that led him to where he is at is none of my business, the right thing to do was give compassion..he asked me to pray for him..and told me his name..please pray for Gerald...that he gets whatever help he needs to get back on his feet and for God to bless him with caring people to help him along the way..
