Opening a can of worms regarding some conversations I had this weekend with competitors. I spoke with a chief who was competing and could not believe that when representing their departments during this type of event or the firefighter challenge firefighters are using their own time, dont get anything from their departments, get no financial support etc. These guys and girls are out setting a great example in an area of the fire service that desperately needs it, getting great pr for their depts. and in return get little if nothing at ali to support them. What are your feelings. Looking for a good discussion.
