Opening day of school and opening chapel service today at St. Paul Lutheran School was everything I thought it would be and more. The church was filled past capacity, there was great singing and even a few laughs from the favorite Gomer , Pastor Marty and Gomers new friend Bama as the scripture verse for the year was introduced. I had a chance to meet some new students and their parents and welcome them to St. Paul. I hope I made their day a little more comfortable. Our visit to Baylor All Saints Medical Center at Fort Worth was as great as usual. I had a chance to meet many new people on the transplant floor and they stopped for a picture with me. Settling down for the night, my thoughts drift back to Wayne, Cassandra, Elise and many others who we lifted up in prayer. We continue to pray for you even though the day is ending.
