Opening for Resident at SRV Hawaii center The Sarada Ramakrishna Vivekananda (SRV) Associations is accepting applications for residency in our Hawaii ashram. This SRV teaching center is located in beautiful Honoka’a on the Hamakua Coast of the Big Island. We are looking for someone who -- has a meditation practice or is seeking to develop one -- prefers a spiritual lifestyle -- has the spirit of sacred study, service, and welcome -- will observe a vegetarian diet in the ashram -- is non-smoking, and does not consume intoxicants Rent is $550 per month including utilities and wifi. You will need your own phone service. No pets are allowed. The SRV Oregon Ashram is an ideal opportunity for a spiritual aspirant to experience an extended retreat in a Holy Atmosphere. Babaji Bob Kindler, the Spiritual Director, offers classes, satsangs, and personal instruction eight months of the year. Residents maintain a daily meditation and Gita study practice. Teachings at SRV include: The philosophical systems of Sankhya, Vedanta, Yoga, Tantra, and also the teachings of Lord Buddha.
