Operation Christmas Child Are you still hoping to put together a christmas gift box? Weve extended the deadline for operation christmas child so you can still have the weekend to make up a shoe box of gifts for a child somewhere in the world who is unlikely to get very much this christmas. The deadline is now by the end of the day on Monday 17th November, boxes to be dropped off at the Hive, Digby Stuart Square. Donations: Toys (e.g. dolls, stuffed toys with CE label, toy trucks, skipping rope, yo-yo, ball, small puzzles) School supplies (e.g. pens, pencils, crayons, felt pens, notebooks, picture books, colouring pencils) Hygiene items (e.g. toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, bars of wrapped soap, flannel) Other items (e.g. hat, cap, gloves, scarf, sunglasses, hair accessories, jewellery, wind up torch) Please do not include used or damaged items, war related items, chocolate or other food, liquids or lotions, medicines, hand-made stuffed toys, marbles or sharp objects, mirrors or fragile items, clothing other than listed above.
