Operation Technical Performance Team Leader Location: Abu Dhabi based Scope • Provide technical expertise with experience based knowledge and assistance to technical and operational divisions/departments on all related matters to operation, reliability, maintenance, materials and Spare Parts. Set strategies and implementation plans and supports Assets through Operation, maintenance and Reliability standards and procedures, Business process, Systematic monitoring, detection and correction of impending failures before they occur. Work with Engineering to ensure efficient performance of system and equipment. Work with assets Ops to ensure risks are systematically identified and the risk register is up to date with risk reduction measures and clear actions ownership. Conduct RAM modeling and Assess/Predict plant, system and equipment performance. Drives standards and more efficient utilization of reliability data and information including managing performance metrics in operations and maintenance Devises and develop maintenance performance mechanism analysis; including costs, spare parts consumption, Manpower efficiency. Issues regular and specific reports on maintenance and operation performance drives safe, reliable and complaint operations (maximum uptime, high production efficiency) through Performance KPIs. Accountable for capturing lessons learned and sharing best practices across assets Principal Accountabilities: • Develops /Update the Maintenance Management Systems (MMS) including the Maintenance Strategy and supporting procedures • Develops/Update the Operational Excellence Strategy including Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) • Develop/Update the spare parts strategy including the supporting procedures • Develop an integrated Turnaround Execution Strategy for Company facilities • Develop/Update business processes for Operation, Maintenance and integrity activities • Sets the reliability and maintenance priorities and provides input to asset teams • Owns and governs all Reliability and Maintenance data • Sets technical competency standards, ensure development of people to standards through technical development programs for reliability and maintenance data • Develops Reliability and Maintenance capability training programs as identified by Functional Learning Priorities • Develop/review and endorse OMI Philosophies for new projects • Works with project Engineering to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations • Participates in the final check out of new installations. This includes factory and site acceptance testing that will assure adherence to functional specifications • Guides efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes , utilities, facilities, controls and safety systems • Carry out RAM modeling to predict and improve plant system availability/reliability. • Formulate mathematical models. Using computer –aided engineering equipment to identify units posing excessive failure risks and support changes in design • Develop/review /endorse Asset maintenance plans. Minimum Requirements • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 12 – 15 years of industry experience • Demonstrate knowledge and leadership of analytical model development and application to solve challenging multi-faceted problems is essential • Have 5 or more years’ experience managing a diverse group of technical experts within a broad portfolio of multiple programs • Ability to manage projects with little oversight, to include budgetary review • Good English and good presentation skills and ability to lead consulting initiatives, such as workshops
